This came from my most favorite movie Crazy, Stupid, Love. Ryan Gosling plays a very well dressed playboy on a mission to revamp Steve Carrell’s pitiful character who is also fashionably lame. How could I not repost this one? By the way, Ryan Gosling is one of those actors that has been labeled as one of Hollywood’s leading males in terms of fashion attire. He’s always smartly dressed and everything he wears seems to be great. Most new actors want that label but I don’t think its all that important. Just makes some good movies! Sorry I was sidetracked…

I haven’t thought to wear my more casual sport coats this way. I have one that I just can’t figure out and this is the perfect solution for it. Very interesting. I love looking at other folk’s photos. I learn things all the time! Love the look.
As I was wandering about today with my daughter, my best friend, and his children I noticed that the breast pocket of my shirt felt a slight bit empty. Without looking I placed my hand over the pocket and in shock and disbelief I realized that my sunglasses were lost. I had favorite tortoise wayfarers earlier but now they were nowhere to be found. My last recollection of my favorite piece was clear. I had arrived at the mall and as I stepped away from the car I realized I was not going to need the sunglasses. So I went back to the car and placed them in the vehicle. Upon my return I could not find them anywhere. SUCH DISAPPOINTMENT… An overall search turned up no sunglasses and as I look at its usual place on my dresser a feeling of longing and sadness comes over me. They fit well and looked handsome. How I miss those wayfarers.
I believe that to make a statement requires only subtlety and this is the case here. With all aspects of this gentleman’s outfit blending together in a fluid sea of blue how can you not look and appreciate the effort placed into simple style? Its a style worth emulating and although some would rather cause a ruckus over their colors and patterns I stand by the belief that an effective statement in style comes more from those who pass by with handsome simplicity.
